Leslie Burgess, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in vascular surgery, cardiovascular medicine, and advanced wound care. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, graduating with honors.
Before joining the Vascular Institute of Chattanooga, Leslie served as a Vascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider at Hawaii Pacific Health’s Straub Medical Center in Honolulu, where she cared for patients with peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, chronic wounds, and other complex vascular conditions. She also has a strong background in cardiology, managing patients with heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular disorders.
Leslie is passionate about patient education and believes that informed patients achieve the best outcomes. She enjoys building strong relationships with her patients and helping them navigate their vascular health journey through compassionate, individualized care.
